Sandroses Partnership

1.  Reservoir Exploration Technology (RXT),  ASA; (Sea floor seismic acquisitions):

Sandroses is the representative of RXT in Saudi Arabia and Bahrain.  RXT provides geophysical services to the oil and gas industry.  The company is specialized in multi-component seafloor seismic data acquisition services, and its vision is to become the world leading supplier of these services.  The technology used is OBC (Ocean Bottom Cables) where towed streamers are impractical due to high density of platforms and/or shallow waters.   The OBC services, includes 2C, 4C, 2D, 3D and 4D, which involve two main uses for sea floor seismic data: 1) Improved recovery from existing fields, 2) Better data quality for Exploration.  In addition, RXT now has secured an exclusive usage of electro magnetic technology (EM) for offshore cable based applications.  RXT's strategy is to deliver high quality and lower cost multi component acquisition services by employing state-of the-art equipment.( www.rxt.com)

2.  Midland Valley. (Structural Analysis and Modeling through time):

Midland Valley performs structural analysis in reservoirs with experts on structural analysis and structural geology dealing with geological algorithms and analytical suites of tools and software for forward and backword modeling through time.  They pioneered the applications of structural balance to extensional and oblique slip basins.  (www.mve.com)

3.  Petrophysics Pty Ltd, (Petrophysics work and courses):

Petro physics Pty Ltd., deals with log analysis and its relations with rock  petrophysics, porosity and permeability, capillary pressures and reservoirs’ engineering parameters, that will compliment the Geological work.  Petrophysics provides wide range of training in petrophysics essentials, integrated petrophysics; for reservoir characterizations, sandstone and carbonate and fracture petrophysics, and actual well field evaluation courses.  (www.petrophysics.com)

4.  IRCG (Integrated Reservoir Characterization Group):

IRCG deals with all reservoir complexities, core descriptions, thin section analysis, interpretations, such as deposition, Diagenesis, Stratigraphic Analysis, Geochemistry and full background geological work with flow layering for reservoir modeling and reservoir simulations.  The group has experts in the Gulf area Geology, Sequence Stratigraphy and Geochemistry and can provide training and courses.

5. BRGM,

BRGM is the French Geological Survey that made the geological survey in Saudi Arabia and mapped a good coverage of the Arabian shield and shelf.  Among their experts is Dr. Dennis Vaslet (PhD) who made his studies on the sedimentary cover of the Arabian shelf. BRGM can provide specialized studies and field trips.

6.  Middle  East Geological Enterprise, Middle East Regional Studies (M.E.G.E)

Middle  East Geological Enterprise, lead by Professor A. Al-Sharhan.  M.E.G.E deals with regional studies of the Gulf area and the Middle East  such as basin analysis and local regional formations in Geological studies; they have published a number of books.  (www.megeuae.com)

7.  Subject Matter Expert (SME), Experts Partnership

Sandroses has established a network of subject matter experts (SME) on most of Geosciences fields.  We provide petroleum  services and consultancies. For examples; Geologists, Well Sitters, Field Geophysics, Petrographers and Thin Section Technicians.
